The Birth of a Brand New Story

This is my very first attempt at publishing fanfiction using Blogger.

This original fanfiction posted here will be from a project I have started (and restarted) since 2006, and was supposed to be on a fanfiction site instead of here. Why? Because my fiction has features that allow readers to understand the story better but these features are typically not accepted in their sites, these include:

• Coloured text for dialogues: Allows better understanding on who-said-what dialogues. This will prevent the unnecessarily-added "who-said-what" description where the speech has no specific emotion to be highlighted (reserve those for emotion-carrying dialogues instead). For this, a character colour reference guide will be created separately for easy reference as you read along.
• Tabled text: Allows organization of certain aspects of the story such as chat-room dialogues and phone conversations, which will be a regular feature in the fiction as an integral part of the story.

Back to the fanfiction, this blog will feature my long-in-process project: Paths Of Destiny. It is about a young man who is emotionally scarred by his past in an attempt to get his life back on track and carve a new future for himself at a Polytechnic in Singapore where he will meet different people en route to regaining his direction in life. Those who have gone through polytechnic life in Singapore may find some of the contents in this fanfiction familiar in one way or another, so if there are any ideas you want to share and contribute to this project in your own way, feel free to comment as well so that I can keep on improving the story as I go along.
